Sack Trucks
Q: Why do you manufacture so many different types
of Sack Truck?
A: Over the years we've developed Sack
Trucks to carry loads of different shapes and sizes.
These different Sack Trucks have evolved into the
current range, which includes Curved cross bars, to
carry long round loads, flat cross bars for crates
and boxes. Long shoes, and short shoes, with different
sizes of wheel.
Q: I have a 300mm wide rigid box, so I need a 300mm
long shoe.
A: No, you don’t. So long as the
box is self supporting, the shorter the shoe the better,
because a short shoe will slip easily under the box,
and you can then pull the box back with the truck
into the moving position, and away you go. Always
handle the load with the truck
Q: I have a sack full of small balls. Which Sack
Truck should I use to carry it?
A: With this type of unstable load you
need a Sack Truck with a long shoe, centre strap,
and cross braces.
Q: My load is easily damaged. How can you help?
A: We have Sack Trucks that have a felt
apron across the full height and width of the truck;
alternatively we have one with a 25mm wide rubber
bumper up each shaft.
Q: I want to travel over rough ground. What can
I do?
A: Use one of our Sack Trucks with 250mm
pneumatic tyre wheels – they're perfect for
materials handling over rough ground. |
